Earthly Love

Original Abstract Rune Painting
Julija Aleskere | Original Rune Art

Earthly love is more than a feeling. It is a creative force that gives life, takes root, nurtures growth and transforms the bond between two people into something greater — a family, a home, an ancestral legacy and a shared future.

Against an abstract background, brushstrokes of green, yellow and orange intertwine, creating a vibrant field scattered with flowers and petals. Ancient symbols emerge among the shifting colours, resembling natural lines and pathways that lead towards a unified whole.

At the heart of this composition are three runes: Berkana, Ingwaz and Othala.

Berkana represents the feminine principle, fertility, maternal care and new growth. It embodies the tenderness that nurtures, protects and gives life.

Ingwaz represents the masculine principle — fertile strength, the seed from which new life emerges and growth begins. It is the creative force directed towards development and continuation.

These two principles unite in Othala, the rune of family, ancestry, home and foundation. Here, love finds its grounding, and a union becomes the foundation for a shared future.

Together, these runes tell a story of how feeling becomes creation, how the meeting of masculine and feminine principles gives rise to new life, and how care and unity create a space in which life can flourish.

The green field evokes the natural rhythm of life: everything begins with a seed, unfolds through care, grows stronger through its roots and eventually bears fruit.

Earthly Love is love that creates. It becomes a home, a family legacy, shared values and a foundation for well-being. It is a bond that does more than unite two people — it inspires them to build a life together.
