ONTARIUM Original Abstract Oil Painting by Julija Aleskere

ONTARIUM is an original abstract oil painting exploring the relationship between movement, color and the many forms that coexist within a single visual space.

The oval, egg-like composition creates a sense of an enclosed yet dynamic world. Mask-like forms move in a shared direction, while flowing strokes of olive green, turquoise, blue, white, orange and red merge into a continuous rhythm.

Rather than depicting a fixed scene, the painting invites the viewer to discover their own associations — a sense of transformation, connection and movement unfolding within one composition.

The distinctive oval format gives the work a sculptural presence, allowing it to stand apart from traditional rectangular paintings.
